Barbara Andres debuted on Broadway in the 1969 musical Jimmy followed by The Boy Friend, Rodgers and Hart, Res, On Golden Pond, Doonesbury, Kiss of the Spider Woman and, most recently, A Delicate Balance. Off-Broadway she has been featured at The Roundabout (Arms and the Man), Lincoln Center (Vivian), Manhattan Theatre Club (Harold Arlen), and The Public Theater (Three Penny Opera.) In regional, from The Guthrie Center to Arena Stage, her favorite roles include Lubov Ranevskya, Mama Rose, Desiree, Candida, Goneril, Linda Loman, and Martha in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf?. On TV, she has guest-starred on "Law & Order" and "Dellaventura "while her films include What About Bob? and the upcoming The Yards.
